Our Partnership format with the Neo-Cybernetics Federation
Introduction
Neo-Cybernetics is derived from Cybernetics, an interdisciplinary field that deals with the study of communication and control in living organisms, machines, and organizations. It encompasses principles from various disciplines, such as engineering, mathematics, biology, computer science, and cognitive psychology. The Neo-Cybernetics Federation was founded in September 2023 by Daniele Nanni and follows some of the original principles of cybernetics.
The term "cybernetics" was first introduced by Norbert Wiener in the 1940s and is derived from the Greek word "kybernetes," which means "steersman" or "governor." In the context of cybernetics, systems are analyzed in terms of their feedback loops and control mechanisms, emphasizing the flow of information within these systems. The field explores how systems, whether biological, mechanical, or social, process information, adapt to their environments, and maintain stability through feedback mechanisms.
Partnership Format
The ALANA Project is a DAC (Decentralized Autonomous Company), a subset of a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization). As we grow, we are eager to organize ourselves in a manner that naturally evolves into a more decentralized structure. On an organizational level, these kinds of structures are seen as complex systems. The Neo-Cybernetics Federation will help us to analyze, design, and evaluate a custom-tailored system that answers to the specific needs of the ALANA community.
Our founder, Stella Achenbach, recently graduated from the Token Engineering Academy. While she has developed skills that enable her to design the core of the new system, it requires multiple people and perspectives to make it robust and future-proof.
