Different Roles in The ALANA Project and their Meaning

Driven by our ambition to operate as a Decentralized Autonomous Company (DAC), The ALANA Project has adopted a distributed work structure aligned with the diverse development branches of our endeavor. However, it is important to recognize that the realization of our vision necessitates a robust administrative framework that propels the project's progression. This entails the establishment of additional roles, commonly referred to as core members, who undertake vital responsibilities crucial to advancing our overarching mission and leading certain project arms.

In the subsequent sections, we will provide comprehensive elucidation on the various roles within our organizational structure, elucidating their significance and introducing the current roles that contribute to the project's success.

Nucleus Guardians | Core Team Member

Nucleus Guardians form the foundational pillars of The ALANA Project, embodying a deep commitment and unwavering dedication to its success. These exceptional individuals are driven by their unwavering passion for the project and invest significant time and effort into its development whenever possible. They share a collective vision and strive to bring it to fruition. As highly engaged contributors, the Nucleus Guardians serve as the bedrock of our community, exemplifying the utmost self-motivation and a resolute determination to propel the project forward.

Responsibilities and Benefits of a Nucleus Guardian

  • Your wallet will be granted whitelisting status, enabling you to mint ALANA's Social Consensus Agreement.

  • You will receive the equivalent role in ALANA's Discord community, ensuring recognition and distinction as well as full transparency.

  • You are entrusted with voting power in the Discord server shaping the project's future (eventually the voting process will be moved on-chain).

  • You are automatically recognized as an integral part of ALANA's community, granting exclusive access to whitelisted sales.

  • Once we have established Phase°2 of the DAC Development, your contributions will be translated to dynamic shares and, therefore, ownership of The ALANA Project.

List of currently active Nucleus Guardians

The process of becoming a Nucleus Guardian

To be considered for the role of Nucleus Guardian, it is important to fulfill a current project need and possess prior experience as a Collaborator (refer to the role description below) within The ALANA Project. Once these criteria are met, we recommend reaching out to one of the active Guardians to arrange a meeting. During the meeting, you will have the opportunity to discuss your interest in the role, your availability on a weekly basis, and the specific need you aim to fulfill.

The subsequent step in the process involves drafting a Decentralized Autonomous Company (DAC) proposal, which will be subject to community voting. To ensure the proposal is comprehensive and informative, please include the following details:

  • Your full name or handle

  • A brief introduction or elevator pitch highlighting your background and why you believe you are well-suited for the project

  • A paragraph outlining your expectations and what you hope to achieve in assuming this role

  • Links to your social media accounts or other publicly accessible information showcasing your professional achievements

The last step will be to hand over your proposal to the active Nucleus Guardian you spoke to before, and as a result, it will be posted on the Discord server and voted on in a seven-day voting period. The votes are accounted for in percentage. By achieving a 90% agreement rate, you will be granted the role of Nucleus Guardian.

Collaborator | Constant to Occasional Contributor

A Collaborator is an individual who actively contributes to The ALANA Project, either as a creator, developer, marketing specialist, or general contributor. This role is granted in the Discord channel based on demonstrating at least one significant contribution to the advancement of Alana's world or showcasing sustained dedication.

Currently, we have observed two distinct types of collaborators assuming this role. The first group comprises designers who have created NFTs related to or in collaboration with ALANA. The second group consists of web3 specialists who have contributed substantial knowledge and expertise, even dedicating events to ALANA.

The role will also be granted to individuals who have successfully handed in a DAC Proposal for their project, company, or community.

  • Your wallet will be whitelisted for ALANA's Social Consensus Agreement minting.

  • You will be rewarded with the Collaborator role in The ALANA Project Discord, acknowledging your contributions and granting you exclusive privileges.

  • You are entrusted with voting power in the Discord server shaping the project's future (eventually the voting process will be moved on-chain).

  • You are automatically recognized as part of ALANA's community, providing you with access to whitelisted sales.

Citizen of AltaAgri | Genesis NFT Holder

An AltaAgri Citizen is an individual who holds an exclusive Genesis NFT minted by The ALANA Project, demonstrating their steadfast support for Alana since the inception of her journey. Currently, the availability of these NFTs is limited, but as the project progresses, this rarity is subject to change. Possessing a Genesis NFT grants several privileges, which will further expand and evolve in tandem with the project's growth and scale.

Become a Holder

Benefits of being a Genesis NFT Holder

  • You will get rewarded with the Citizen role in The ALANA Discord.

  • You are entrusted with voting power in the Discord server shaping the project's future (eventually the voting process will be moved on-chain).

  • You will be granted access to all future private sales

  • Your contribution will be honored by creating a plaque for you in Alana's World (the shape and structure are not yet entirely clear) containing the PFP or avatar associated with your wallet address.

Member | Passive Member

The Member role is automatically added to your account upon entry into The ALANA Project Discord Server, signifying your initial connection to the project. However, it is important to note that the Member role carries a passive status without any explicit expectations or associated benefits. It is primarily intended for individuals who have a personal desire to learn and engage with the project. We emphasize this point to prevent any false expectations or confusion regarding the privileges associated with this role.
